Hayley orrantia was born in the US. She is primarily an actress, but also a songwriter and singer. People are familiar with her because of her role as Erica Goldberg on the popular show on television 'The Goldbergs.' While she is a performer, her primary passion is music. Music, according to her, is first thing she enjoys. She began playing with it at age nine. Her first training began in the field of music professionally when she was twelve. As a teenager She began to write her own music. The album that she first released wasn't released until 14 years after. Since then, she has not stopped ever since. Orrantia is a native of America and has Hispanic roots. Though she grew up speaking exclusively English and has never lived in Mexico she's extremely satisfied with her Hispanic culture. By learning Spanish and writing songs she tries to preserve the tradition. One of her efforts was a Spanish track titled "Hasta Verte..' Orrantia appeared on The X Factor during its debut season in the summer of 2011. The Orrantia's YouTube video was chosen and she was awarded four "yeses" which is a vote, from the judges at The Seattle audition. Originally auditioning as a soloist, she along with three female singers were grouped with three other singers for the last auditions during "Hollywood Week". The live performances were held during the week of 5th.
