Tina and Amanda

Tina Louise has been a performer, writer, and actress in the United States for more than 40 years. Most famously, she is known for her role as Ginger Grant (in the 60s TV series Gilligan's Island). Her Two's Company musical was the first stage production in which she appeared during her stage debut. She continued to perform in various Broadway productions, before becoming huge in the national theater space with Li'l Abner' in 1957. She released her album It's Too Late for Tina in the following year. Louise started the first phase of her Hollywood career in the year 1958 as she played Griselda Walden in God's Little Acre, a film that was dramatic. It was a huge success, and Louise was awarded the Golden Globe Award for the New Star of the Years category. She was enrolled at Actors Studio, New York at the time, and later became Lee Strasberg's pupil. The year 1964 saw her signing with CBS as a character, Ginger Grant. Louise Balfour continued to successfully play between Broadway as well as Hollywood portraying somber character as opposed her perceived image as a glamorous doll. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. SG-1 and as Helen Magnus in Sanctuary although in the last few years she's also earned a name for herself as a director who has been successful in numerous well-known TV shows like Supernatural and The 100. Her birth date was August 28, 1965 in Essex. When she was 3, her family moved her to Toronto which is where she spent the majority of throughout her early years. When she was chosen to play the role of Samantha Carter, she moved to Vancouver in 1997. She has lived there from then on.
