Ina-Garten

Ina Garten is well-known American cookery book author and Emmy award-winning host of Food Networks current oldest show Barefoot Contessa that debuted in 2002 and aired up to 2020 in 27 seasons. Ina began her career working in the White House, writing the nuclear energy budget and policy documents. While she found it interesting initially, she eventually stopped her pursuit and decided to purchase a smaller specialty store called Barefoot Contessa. After selling the store, she spent 18 years building it into a highly successful store. The cookbooks were followed by many more, and magazines columns which came later. Her Food Network TV show also made its debut, and was a huge hit. Her range of items spans from kitchen equipment to ingredients as well as storage containers. Ina is not a student at any cooking school, nor employed in a restaurant, and she is completely self-taught. Ina is well-known as an easy cook, and also for her entertaining manner. Some of her most popular recipes are Skillet - Roasted lemon Chicken Mac and Cheese, Mac, Beef Bourguignon and cheese paired with Beatty's Chocolate Cake as well as Lemon Bars.
