Zoe-perry
Perry is the daughter of actors Laurie Metcalf, and Jeff Perry. The role of Jackie Harris was played by her mom in both of her two appearances on Roseanne. In fear of stress, her parents didn't want to see her pursue acting before she reached the age of age 18. Perry was shy in high-school and didn't act. Her first acting experience was in the year 2000 at Northwestern University to gain friends after she was moved from Boston University. Perry following her graduation from Boston University moved into New York in search of acting roles on television. Her small part was on shows such as Law & Order: Criminal Intent. However, homesickness drove her to California to find theater work. She and her mother starred on Broadway as a couple as part of The Other Place, in 2013. In 2015, she appeared together with Kevin McKidd alongside her mother in Eugene O'Neill's Pulitzer-winning drama Anna Christie. Odyssey Theatre Ensemble Odyssey Theatre Ensemble is located in West Los Angeles. Perry appeared in nine episodes of The Family, an ABC crime thriller The Family in 2016. In 2017, she starred in an recurring role in the ABC political thriller Scandal which starred her father. In the same year, her character was cast a younger character of Mary Cooper (Sheldon Cooper's mother) in Young Sheldon, a spin-off of the CBS sitcom The Big Bang Theory again as a teen version of her mother's role. The character was picked through an audition, even the fact that she had a deep connection with it.
